Objectives of Tamil Mandram

  • The primary aim of the Tamil Mandram is to cultivate a love and deep-rooted connection among students towards the Tamil language and culture. Through this, students are encouraged to express their artistic talents, understand the greatness of Tamil heritage, and participate in projects that benefit society.
  • The Tamil Mandram operates with the purpose of further enriching the Tamil language and cultural traditions through student contributions. It is established to help students understand and engage with Tamil literature, linguistics, and culture.
  • The Forum works with the goal of inspiring, nurturing, and enhancing students' knowledge of Tamil language, literature, and culture, combined with modern scientific thinking and skills.

The Purpose of “TAMIL MANDRAM”

  • The primary purpose of the Tamil Mandram is to create the will and the root of the Tamil language and culture in the students. Through this, students are urged to showcase their artistic talents, understand the glory of Tamils and engage in programs that benefit the community.
  • The Tamil Mandram is working to further expand with the participation of the students and the cultural traditions of the Tamil language. The forum is set up to understand and implement Tamil literature, linguistics and culture.
  • The Tamil Mandram is aimed at encouraging, nurturing and improving students with the knowledge and skills of the Tamil language, literature and culture.

தமிழ் மன்றத்தின் நோக்கங்கள்

  • தமிழ் மன்றத்தின் முதன்மை நோக்கம், மாணவர்களில் தமிழ்மொழி மற்றும் கலாசாரத்தின் மீது விருப்பத்தையும், வேரோட்டத்தையும் உருவாக்குவதாகும். இதன் வாயிலாக மாணவர்கள் தங்களின் கலைத் திறமைகளை வெளிப்படுத்தவும், தமிழரின் பெருமைகளைப் புரிந்துகொள்ளவும், சமூகத்திற்குப் பயனளிக்கும் திட்டங்களில் ஈடுபடவும் வலியுறுத்தப்படுகிறது.
  • தமிழ்மொழியின் செழுமையும் தமிழரின் பண்பாட்டு மரபுகளும் மாணவர்களின் பங்களிப்புடன் மேலும் விரிவடைய வேண்டும் என்பதற்காக, தமிழ் மன்றம் செயல்படுகிறது. தமிழ் இலக்கியம், மொழியியல், கலாச்சாரம் ஆகியவற்றை மாணவர்கள் புரிந்துகொள்ளவும், செயல்படுத்தவும் ஏதுவாக இம்மன்றம் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
  • தமிழ் மொழி, இலக்கியம், பண்பாடு அவற்றின் மீதான அறிவை இக்கால அறிவியல் சிந்தனை மற்றும் திறன்களுடன் மாணவர்களுக்கு ஊக்குவித்தல், மற்றும் மேம்படுத்துதலை நோக்கமாகக்கொண்டு தமிழ் மன்றம் இயங்கி வருகிறது.

தமிழ் மன்றத்தின் செயல்பாடுகள்

  • தமிழர்களின் கலாச்சாரமும் பண்பாடும் – தமிழ் கலாசார விழாக்கள், பழக்கவழக்கங்களை அறிமுகப்படுத்துதல்.
  • மாணவர்களின் அறிவுத்திறங்களை வளர்த்தல் – கவிதைப்போட்டி, நாடகம், உரைநடை மற்றும் விவாதம் மேடை போன்ற போட்டிகள் மூலம் அறிவுத்திறனை வளர்த்தல்
  • பக்தி மற்றும் சமூக விழிப்புணர்வு – தமிழ் இலக்கியத்தில் உள்ள நற்பண்புகளை வலியுறுத்துதல்.
  • பண்பாட்டு நிகழ்ச்சிகள்: பாரதியார், பாரதிதாசன் போன்ற தமிழ் புரட்ச்சியாளர்களின் பிறந்த நாள்களில் முத்தமிழ் (இயல், இசை,நாடகம்) நிகழ்ச்சிகள் நடைபெறும்.
  • மொழி பரப்புச் செயல்பாடுகள்: தமிழ் மொழி கற்றல் வகுப்புகள், உரையாடல்கள், கட்டுரை விவாதங்கள் போன்ற நிகழ்ச்சிகள் மூலம் தமிழ் மொழிக் கற்றலை ஊக்குவித்தல்.
  • சமூக சேவை: தொண்டு நிகழ்ச்சிகள், மருத்துவ விழிப்புணர்வு நிகழ்ச்சிகள், சமூக பிரச்சினைகள் பற்றி கருத்தரங்குகள் நடத்துதல்.
  • தனித்திறனும் படைப்பாற்றலும்: தமிழ் சமூகத்தின் அரசியல், சமூக, பொருளாதாரம், சிக்கல்களை மையமிட்டு படைப்பாற்றலை உருவாக்கம் செய்தல்.

  • To continue improving Tamil language education comparable to any other world language, ensuring its sustainability across generations.

Mission

  • To bring out the talents of students in the Tamil language and showcase it to the world, thus enhancing society's progress.
  • To achieve though various activities like organizing competitions, events, and workshops to celebrate Tamil literature and culture.
  • To enhance students' spoken and written Tamil language skills. to promote the quality of reading and writing in Tamil.

Activities of Tamil Manram

  • Introducing Tamil Culture and Traditions – Organizing Tamil cultural festivals and familiarizing students with traditional customs and practices.
  • Developing Students' Intellectual Skills – Conducting competitions like poetry contests, drama, prose, and debates to enhance intellectual abilities.
  • Promoting Devotion and Social Awareness – Highlighting the virtues embedded in Tamil literature.
  • Cultural Events – Organizing Muthamizh (Literature, Music, Drama) events on the birthdays of Tamil revolutionaries like Bharathiyar and Bharathidasan.
  • Language Promotion Activities – Encouraging Tamil language learning through classes, conversations, and essay discussions.
  • Literary Activities – Hosting poetry readings, book launches, essay competitions, and other activities that promote Tamil literature.
  • Social Service – Conducting charity events, medical awareness programs, and seminars on social issues.
  • Individual Talent and Creativity – Fostering creativity focused on the political, social, and economic issues within the Tamil community.
