The library is fully automated through AUTOLIB software, offers remote digital access, and provides a technology-enabled learning environment supported by CCTV surveillance.

1. About the Library

The Library and Information Centre of NPR College of Engineering & Technology has set its objective “To Satisfy the User Community and improve Digital Knowledge Management”.

In our library, all activities are fully automated by the AUTOLIB software, including the OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) and a Barcode Scanner for circulation.

NPRCET digital library resources can be accessed from anywhere at any time through a remote access platform. Our library building is under CCTV surveillance.

NPRCET Library Rules

  • The library will be open on all the working days from 8.45 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Students are permitted with ID card only.
  • Decorum and discipline must be maintained inside the library, silence and orderliness must be observed strictly at all times.
  • Chairs should not be transferred from its place.
  • Indiscipline activities may lead to disciplinary action and privileges may be withdrawn.
  • Members are requested not to bring their bags, folders, etc. inside the library.
  • Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited.
  • The library follows an open access system. Books or other materials taken from the stacks should not be misplaced. The library staff can help you or otherwise should left on the table.
  • The lending period for all students and staff is two weeks and a maximum of 5 books can be borrowed.
  • Reference books and journals are not issued.
  • Borrowers must satisfy themselves about the physical condition of the books before borrowing. They shall be held responsible for any damage or mutilation noticed at the time of returning the books.
  • The college Transfer Certificate will be issued only after returning all the library books.
  • Writing, scribbling, underlining and tampering of books is strictly prohibited.
  • Digital library is to be used for academic purpose only.
  • Online chatting/browsing of social networking sites is strictly prohibited.

The College Library subscribes electronic resources through e-ShodhSindhu and publishers. Faculty members and students can access subscribed scholarly resources 24/7 using provided credentials.
