Welcome to the Department of Civil Engineering at NPR College of Engineering and Technology.

It is my privilege and honor to lead a department that stands at the intersection of tradition and innovation. Civil Engineering is not merely a field of study; it forms the very foundation of civilization—from the water we drink to the roads we travel and the buildings we inhabit. At NPRCET, we take this responsibility with great seriousness and commitment.

Our department is driven by a clear vision: to produce competent, ethical, and globally competitive civil engineers who are capable of addressing the challenges of a rapidly urbanizing world. Our curriculum is carefully designed to balance strong theoretical foundations with practical, hands-on experience.

In recognition of the evolving industry landscape, we have introduced contemporary specializations such as Computer-Aided Drafting and Modelling, as well as IoT and AI applications in Civil Engineering, ensuring that our students are proficient in the latest tools and technologies from the beginning of their academic journey.

What distinguishes our department is our strong commitment to making our students industry-ready. Through well-equipped advanced laboratories, regular industry interactions, and project-based learning approaches, we effectively bridge the gap between classroom concepts and real-world site challenges.

We encourage our students to think beyond conventional boundaries, foster innovation, and develop sustainable solutions that contribute meaningfully to nation-building.

Our dedicated faculty members are the pillars of this department. They are not only educators but also mentors and researchers who guide students in developing both technical expertise and the soft skills necessary for leadership.

We cultivate an academic environment that promotes interdisciplinary learning, critical thinking, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

I wish all our students a transformative and enriching learning journey ahead.
