Code of Conduct

All students are expected to uphold the highest standards of discipline, integrity, professionalism, and ethical behavior while representing the institution.


1 General Conduct

  • All students must maintain discipline and decorum on campus at all times.
  • Respect towards faculty, staff, and follow students is mandatory.
  • Any form of harassment, bullying, or discrimination is strictly prohibited.
  • Students must carry their valid college ID cards while on campus.

2 Attendance

  • Students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in each subject (or as prescribed by the institution).
  • Absence due to illness must be supported by a medical certificate.
  • Students failing to meet attendance requirements may be barred from examinations.

3 Academic Integrity

  • Cheating, plagiarism, and any form of academic dishonesty are strictly prohibited.
  • Assignments and projects must be submitted on time.
  • Use of unfair means during examinations will result in disciplinary action.

4 Use of Campus Facilities

  • Library rules must be strictly followed (silence, timely return of books, etc.).
  • Laboratory equipment must be handled carefully; damages must be reported immediately.
  • College property must not be damaged or misused.

5 Prohibited Activities

  • Ragging in any form is strictly banned and punishable under law.
  • Consumption of alcohol, drugs, or tobacco on campus is prohibited.
  • Carrying weapons or hazardous materials is strictly forbidden.

6 Mobile Phones & Electronic Devices

  • Use of mobile phones during lectures is prohibited unless permitted by the faculty.
  • Recording audio/video without permission is not allowed.

7 Discipline & Penalties

  • Violation of rules may result in warnings, fines, suspension, or expulsion.
  • Serious misconduct may be reported to legal authorities.

8 Grievance Redressal

  • Students may submit complaints through the proper grievance redressal mechanism.
  • All grievances will be addressed fairly and confidentially.

Amendments

The college administration reserves the right to amend or update these rules and regulations as necessary to maintain discipline, academic excellence, and the overall welfare of the institution and its students.
