NPRCET Alumni Association

NPRCET Alumni Association (NPRCETAA) is administered by an Alumni Committee (Registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act 1975 (Tamil Nadu Act 27 of 1975)) on 05 Feb 2021.

The Alumni Association is very active in promoting interactions and camaraderie among the Alumni, Staff, and Management. Besides helping the Alumni in all possible ways, it also lends its support to the college to achieve its cherished goals, Vision, and Mission.

NPR Institutions takes great pleasure in forming an active Alumni Network.

NPRCET Alumni Association (NPRCETAA) organized an Alumni Association Office Bearers Meeting on 22.02.2025 at the Board Room of NPR College of Engineering and Technology. The meeting focused on discussing alumni engagement activities, strengthening alumni–institution relationships, and planning future initiatives for the development of the association and the institution.

Vision

To serve as a platform to connect institute, alumni, and students to have a better interaction with each other for academic excellence.

Mission

  1. To promote a lifelong relationship and create a platform for the exchange of information.
  2. To involve alumni in mentoring and up-skilling NPRCET students.
  3. To promote Student-Alumni interaction for career development and guidance.
  4. To promote a sense of pride in being a NPRCETian.

Objectives

  1. To bring the old students of all the departments of NPR College of Engineering and Technology Alumni Association (NPRCETAA) under one forum for exchange of experience, dissemination of knowledge and talents amongst its members and also for the furtherance of fellowship, advancement of scientific knowledge in general of the members of the Association and Society.
  2. To conduct National, International seminars, conference, workshops, endowment lectures and other academic activities and also to keep in touch with one another of the College faculty, non-teaching staff and students.
  3. To provide placement opportunities to the students through Alumni by organizing job fairs and also having linkages with various industries.
  4. To organize international level educational tour programmes.
  5. To create awareness about the educational opportunities through Alumni interaction every year.
  6. To create and establish Alumni endowments for granting scholarships, prizes and medals to the students showing high proficiency in their studies and honor the former students of the College.
  7. To promote young entrepreneurs by organizing various entrepreneurship development programmes, Entrepreneurs awareness programmes, trade fairs and Exhibitions.
  8. To provide books, stationeries, food and any other necessities to the students and others at a subsidized cost in the College premises.
  9. To advise and interact with State and Central Government Bodies, Universities and Associations of other academic institutions on matters relating to promotion of Higher education, training and management systems and thereby promote the welfare and status of the College.
  10. To render financial aid to deserving poor students studying at the college and provide monetary and academic help to their further studies.
  11. To render financial aid to deserving alumni in cases of extreme compassionate circumstances.
  12. To publish magazines, souvenirs and newsletters highlighting the activities of the college and its Alumni.
  13. To organize cultural and educational programmes and also to conduct Alumni Day celebration every year.
  14. To help the Alumni to get advice from the college on various technical problems and job opportunities that they may come across in their work and relief.
  15. To educate the student community in the areas of conservative usage of water and electricity.
  16. To create awareness among the student community about the harmful effects of plastic and non-composite items.
  17. To get the support from the Alumni placed in the Government Bodies in relevant areas.
  18. To perform all such activities which may be necessary for the fulfillment of the objectives of the association. It is a non-governmental and non-profitable association.
  19. This NPR College of Engineering and Technology Alumni Association (NPRCETAA) is formed for the benefits of Alumni.
  20. This NPR College of Engineering and Technology Alumni Association (NPRCETAA) is not any way connected with politics.
